Watercolour Collage Christmas Card Workshop at Maple Maple Strawberry
✨ Monday 16th November
⏰ 1–3pm
📍 Maple Maple Strawberry, Park Gate
💷 £27 – all materials included
Join us for a cosy afternoon creating your own watercolour collage Christmas cards – combining painting, cutting, tearing and layering to create lovely little winter scenes.
We'll start by painting our own sheets of watercolour paper in a selection of wintry colours and textures. I'll then show you how to turn them into simple cottages, snowy hills, trees and other festive details before layering everything together to create your finished cards.
No experience is needed, and you definitely don't need to be able to draw a perfect cottage. In fact, slightly wonky cottages are actively encouraged.
What to expect:
🎨 Step-by-step guidance throughout
✂️ All watercolour, collage materials and card blanks provided
🏠 Create your own set of handmade Christmas cards to take home
☕ Non-alcoholic drinks available from the café
🎄 A relaxed afternoon of painting, cutting, sticking and getting quietly festive
By the end of the afternoon, you'll have a collection of completely unique handmade Christmas cards – although whether you actually send them to anyone or decide they're too nice to give away is entirely up to you.
Come on your own or bring a friend. This one is completely beginner-friendly and designed to be more about experimenting and enjoying the process than achieving absolute Christmas-card perfection.
