Adult Art Club: Lino Print Christmas Cards at Mad Hatterz Coffee House

£24.00

Tuesday 8th December
10.30am–12.30pm
Mad Hatterz Coffee House, Waterlooville
£24 – including a drink and cake

Join us for a cosy Tuesday morning learning how to create your own lino printed Christmas cards.

I’ll guide you through the whole process, from choosing and transferring your festive design to carving your lino block, inking it up and making that very satisfying first print. We’ll have simple festive designs to work from, or you can put your own spin on things if you’re feeling adventurous.

This workshop is completely beginner-friendly, so you don’t need to have tried lino printing before. I’ll show you how to use the tools safely and we’ll take everything step by step – no prior knowledge of printmaking terminology required.

What to expect:

  • Step-by-step guidance through designing, carving, inking and printing

  • All lino printing tools and materials provided

  • A selection of festive designs and templates to choose from

  • Create a set of handmade Christmas cards to take home

  • Keep your lino block so you can make more prints afterwards

  • A drink and cake included in your ticket

  • A relaxed morning of making things and getting increasingly festive

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have your own little collection of hand-printed Christmas cards – complete with all the tiny variations that prove you actually made them rather than panic-bought them in Tesco on the 23rd.
