Join us for another relaxed Friday afternoon of painting at our Emsworth Art Class.
This time we're getting to grips with gouache and creating a bright, cheerful sunflower painting.
If you've never used gouache before, don't worry – that's rather the point! It's a lovely medium that sits somewhere between watercolour and acrylic, and we'll spend some time getting used to how it behaves before creating our finished painting.
I'll guide you through the whole process step by step, from building up the background and basic flower shapes to adding layers of colour, texture and those all-important finishing details.
This session is completely suitable for beginners, including anyone who usually announces "I can't paint" before they've even picked up the brush.
What to expect:

There's no pressure to make yours look exactly like mine – I'll show you the techniques, then you can make the painting your own.
Come along on your own or bring a friend, play with paint and spend a couple of hours doing something creative.
